- Hanging out with Deniz in the Bona Vista Lounge (rotating top floor lounge with fabulous night views of Los Angeles) on new years
- Playing Taiwanese flutes in Monument Valley with Deniz with the late afternoon sun and dramatic clouds casting shadows on the monuments
- Seeing how people live on the floating villages on Tongle Sap Lake, Cambodia

- Jumping on the Shinkansen with Delphine for the first time en route to Nikko
- The balloon ride with Delphine over the thousands of fairy chimneys of Cappadocia
- Getting Delphine's lost luggage back
