Hi all!

I'm going to start posting once a month rather than each time I take pictures. I'm getting to the point where I'm taking pictures so often that it's a challenge keeping up with posting! Okay, so here are my pictures for the month of May 2008.

Red Bull Air Races

In the beginning of the month, Phil and I checked out the Red Bull Air Races. They were really wild! Crazy pilots maneuver in and around inflatable pylons placed in strategic locations throughout the San Diego Bay.

Busker Festival

Every summer, Seaport Village hosts a competition for street performers for the summer contract. This year there were some really interesting entries! It was a real treat to all 5 senses.

Oahu Windward Coast

A couple of meetings for work took me on an interesting trip to the Kaneohe Bay. While I was there, I took some time to explore the windward (eastern) coast of Oahu and hike in the Koolau mountain range.

San Diego Bay Bridge Run

After I got back, I joined a 4-mile run over the San Diego Bay bridge hosted by Navy MWR. What a blast! I of course brought my camera and took pics from the Coronado Bridge. It was such a unique treat... pedestrians are not normally allowed on the bridge.

Photoshop Craziness

Since I got back from Hawaii, I've gotten into extreme editing in Photoshop. It's a lot of fun trying to turn bland, headed-for-the-trash photos into shocking images. The link to a gallery is below. I'll leave it to you to tell me whether my attempts at artistry are bearing fruit.
