Portland Waterfront - Along the Willamette River

On my last day, I walked along the Willamette River, on the edge of Downtown Portland.

The many bridges crossing the river are a great place to jog!

Neat bridge...This middle section of the house structure lifts via a pully system when a tall ship needs to pass through.

What luck! The cherry blossoms by the river's edge were in bloom during my visit.

So picturesque...

Every Saturday, rain or shine, people flock to the Portland Saturday Market by the waterfront.

No where in the world is there so much interest in silverware
(or bizarre silverware creations)!! Go spoonman!

Mmm... yummy international foods, and vegetarianized no less!
If only the South African and Himalayan carts would relocate to San Diego...
