We took a boat ride through the lagoons and got to see a lot of wildlife protected within the Siam Kiam preserve... egrets, herons, stingrays, pelicans, etc. And to our surprise, our boat operator gave us the unique opportunity to snorkel in the lagoons! It was a strange and unique experience snorkeling in a fresh water channel, seeing schools of fish and the mangrove masses below the water.
